Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are becoming more capable. They pass our tests on cleaning and are able to handle a variety of floors. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models work with smartphones. Check for an app that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.
When I tried the S1, it was able to map the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without colliding with them, and was able to drive across thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes was unable to navigate down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it was near carpet or rug.
Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working well. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them becoming clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combos which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs' all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an effective solution for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station when needed.
The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges for those areas that the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished as needed. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction which can easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it does sometimes get hung up on the tiny rug or area mats I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary in the application). Mopping capabilities are quite good, with a pair spinning mop pads that are able to lift and scrub floors instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station as they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But robot vacuum cleaner best comes with even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our best mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. robot vacuum cleaner best cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently by avoiding pet hairs as well as other mess. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate tight spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can go from one room to another without having to change direction. This is beneficial for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than that of some competitors, and leaves a huge space over obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.
The app features a simple user interface that is designed to be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings. You can also adjust suction power, mop setting, and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be operated through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from any location. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for live video surveillance. But, you'll require a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of picking up dirt and debris, but it can't always reach every last piece of dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is especially true for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed specifically for this purpose. It is easy to connect to your WiFI network at home and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's expensive S-series models. It includes the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it doesn't have mopping capabilities and has a plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested did not show problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we've tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home this will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. The device also collects dust in a larger bin that means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot can recognize carpets and increase suction if necessary. The app allows you to mark off areas that you want it to avoid, which is a nice feature.
